Conceptualized as a alternative to streaming apps, this project intends to be a low-stress and instant-on media viewing experience, with tactile controls and limited user interaction.

For Version 1.0, this resulted in the somewhat clunky integration of a Raspberry Pi 3B+ into a Bentley Black & White Portable Television.

For Version 2.0, this integration has benefitted from improved practices and components. The second iteration is more portable and more user-friendly. Aesthetics have been refined, with only insignificant changes to the original 1980s design. End-user serviceability has also been much improved.

Moving forward, further expansions and refinements will occur to Version 2.0.

Speculative work has also begun on a hypothetical Version 3.0, which could feature a color display and increased computing power.

This project is currently in prototype status.
